Colors of Classical Music is a community dedicated to sharing the stories and experiences of folks identifying as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) in classical music to inspire hope, serve as a resource, and look towards a more equitable, inclusive, and diverse future in this field.

For too long, the “Western Classical Canon” has upheld a false, single-sided view of what this music is, who belongs here, and what it looks like to be part of the classical music world. This ends now.
